Sufficient nutrients and wetting agent make it the ideal medium for successful sowing and first propagation of seeds and cuttings.

Moisture content 65%  AFP  10/11 approx.

POT BEDDING COMPOST

A medium grade blend of Sphagnum Moss Peat ensures the easy flow and filling of trays and small pots.
It includes a well balanced feed containing trace elements.
Added wetting agent assists watering and re-wetting.

Typical Analysis:

Bulk density  300/gm/l   pH value 5.5

Moisture content 65%  AFP  11/12 approx.

POTTING COMPOST

A blend of medium Sphagnum Moss Peat which provides good stability and adequate air filled porosity. A well balanced feed containing trace elements allowing a healthy growth for a wide variety of small pot plants.
The added wetting agent assists the re-wetting and drainage.

Moisture content 50%  AFP  13/14 approx.

 

TUB & BASKET COMPOST

Tub & Basket Compost is based on top quality Sphagnum Moss Peat which provides good stability and adequate air filled porosity.
A well balanced feed gives a healthy growth and the added polymer gives water retention.
The wetting agent assists the re-wetting.

CONTAINER COMPOST

This course screened Sphagnum Moss Peat achieves a higher air-filled porosity to give good drainage and stability for containerising shrubs and trees of most species. Grit is added to ensure stability also a wetting agent to assist in re-wetting. Bark can also be included along with a slow release fertiliser at your request.

PRIMULA & PANSY COMPOST

Primula and Pansy compost is a blend of Sphagnum Moss Peat, especially formulated for Primulas & Pansies, providing good stability and adequate air-filled porosity.
It includes a well balanced feed which has a low nitrogen content and is high in potash to promote good flower colour without excessive leaf growth.
A wetting agent is added to assist watering and re-wetting.

ERICACEOUS COMPOST

A blend of medium Sphagnum Moss Peat especially formulated for lime-hating plants, providing good stability and adequate air-filled porosity.
A well balanced feed containing trace elements allowing the healthy growth of ericaceous varieties.
The added wetting agent assists in the re-wetting and drainage
